Taking a SuperScout voice screening interview
You have been invited to a short voice interview with Scout, an AI screening agent. Here is who Scout is, what she asks, how long it takes, and what happens to the recording.
How the interview works
You receive an email with a private link. When you open it, you speak with Scout, an AI interviewer, in a secure voice call in your browser. There is no app to install and nothing to dial, and you choose when to start. Before it begins you are told the interview is recorded and transcribed, and you can decline by not starting.
What SuperScout does with your CV
The hiring company uploads your CV, or you send it through their application link. SuperScout compares it with the job description and gives the hiring team a score and a short summary with reasons. It is used only for the role it was uploaded for.
Who makes the decision
A person at the hiring company makes every hiring decision. SuperScout and Scout give advice only.
Who Scout is
Scout is an AI screening agent that asks questions on behalf of the hiring team. She will say so at the start of the interview.
What she will ask
The questions are chosen by the recruiter from the job description. She asks them one at a time, with the odd follow-up. There are no trick questions.
How long it takes
Most interviews take 5 to 10 minutes. Find a quiet spot, use headphones if you can, and allow microphone access when your browser asks.
If the connection drops
Open the same link and start again. Nothing is scored until an interview completes.
What happens to the recording
The interview is recorded and transcribed. The recording, transcript and Scout's notes are shared only with the organisation that invited you, and are kept while their hiring project exists.

Your rights
